Zajecar Initiative announced a call for proposals for student parliaments of high-schools from the Timok region on November 1, as part of its "Youth on the Move" program. The goal of this program is to offer young people an additional opportunity for democratic and civic education through activities that they design and implement themselves.
For more than 10 years, the Zajecar Initiative has been successfully supporting student parliaments in the Timok region. So far, over 80 projects of school parliaments have been supported through the Youth in Motion program, which has enabled young people to engage in their school and community, as well as to acquire knowledge rights on topics such as democracy, activism, human rights. and others.
Under the Youth in Motion program, parliaments can apply for a maximum of $ 700 in dinar equivalent.
